METHODOLOGY

Peace doesn’t happen in the mind – it happens in the body.

As someone who lived in their head for many many years, I know that mental masturbation doesn’t work. Analyzing problems doesn’t work.

Real change happens when we FEEL through our pain love.

That’s why everything I do is rooted in connection to the body + your emotions – bringing awareness and love to integrate what was previously in the shadows.

I help you contact what’s stuck as pain, numbness or reactivity in your body + open to it, so that you can move through those blocks and become free.

My Coaching methodology draws upon the following modalities. Depending on the client + situation, we’ll use a combination of these tools:

Therapeutic Tools

Internal Family Systems

MBSR – Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy

Authentic Relating

Self-Expression + Emotional Release

Tantric emotional release exercises

Linklater voice training

Miesner Technique for actors

In person in the East Village (NYC) or online.

Testimonials

“Tapping into her wide range of experience, insight, and perspective, Lindsey is able to intuitively understand others’ deepest needs and guide them to the path they are seeking. Her ability to communicate and connect on spiritual, emotional, and intellectual levels helps her allow others to find that which is most meaningful to them and pursue it. For me, she was able to gently nudge me into seeing that which was missing from my life, and find the strength to believe I could enact the change needed. “

– Douglas E. Morris, President of 4D Publications Inc., recipient of the United Nations FUNEP 500 Award, and author of It’s a Sprawl World After All

“Lindsey has an amazing gift. In a half-hour session, she provided me with insights that were spot on, and profoundly helpful in finding greater self-awareness, self-care and self-love. Her insights helped me to see that a great deal of daily stress comes from the tremendous pressure I put on myself. She helped my find greater self-compassion and ease the tension and stress that I often hold in my body. Her insights have also helped me see that connecting to the instincts of my physical body will often answer questions that the mind can not. Her tender heart and incredible energy is comforting and supportive. I am thankful and appreciative.”
